The main characters of this book are the Happy Prince and a swallow. The Happy Prince give his eyes and the ruby of his sword to the poor people, and the swallow takes them instead of the Happy Prince because the Happy Prince is a statue and cannot move. They help many poor people, but the Happy Prince becomes a dull and grey statue and the swallow dies because of the coldness.
This story made my heart warm. I think that the Happy Prince and the swallow are great because they always think about other people. It is not easy for us to consider other poeple at all time. However, I want to be like them. Please read it!
