The Magic Porridge Pot

One evening, a greedy boy smelled the porridge. He followed his nose to Hannah's cottage. He saw the pot start to fill with porridge...but he didn't see it stop. The boy waited until Hannah went to bed. Then he crept in, stole the pot and ran home. (pp.24-29)



Hannah never had enough to eat. But, when she had some food, she always shared it. One day, Hannah found some honey and eat it. Then she saw an old woman, so she shared it. The old woman gave Hannah Magic Porridge Pot. Thanks to the old woman, Hannah always had plenty to eat. But a greedy boy stole the pot. He said magic word and the steaming  porridge filled the pot. He tried to stop the pot. However, he didn't know the magic word to stop the pot so he ran outside.
