Daisy Miller

Sometimes, Winterbourne thought that Daisy did not feel anything at all. This thought annoyed him. (p. 66)

     This book's main character is Daisy Miller. She is a very beautiful girl, but she does not understand customs and thinkings of Europe. So, people gradually do not talk with her. While, an American man, Winterbourne falls in love with her and he sometimes goes out with her. However, his aunt does not like her because of her behavior, so she trys to persuade him. After that, he embarrassed about her behaviors and thinkings.
     This book is in the Macmillan Reading series. It tells us the common sense of Europe and the new thinking of America. Please read it!
